Who am I?

Tilly Makrof-Johansson

Hello there, I’m Tilly Makrof-Johansson, an Interaction Design Student, illustrator & UX-Designer, based in Sweden - Welcome to my portfolio.

I’m a curious designer who enjoys understanding people, exploring complex problems, and turning insights into thoughtful experiences.

So - Why does the world need UX and interaction design? To me, the core answer is simple: to make technology humane, easy to understand and designed around the people using it.

Working with different projects and media, I have fallen in love with the user-centered design process. As a designer, I get energy from being curious and pursuing the “why” in research to be able to create useful, intuitive and thoughtful solutions for people.

What interests me most is the space between technology and people: how complex systems become useful and understandable (and sometimes fail to be...). I find it exciting to explore how design can help bridge that gap!

I see every project as both a challenge and an opportunity to grow. I thrive in collaborative environments, learn quickly, and love feedback-loops.

And a bit more!

Outside of geeking out and philosophying about design, people and technology I enjoy a lot of hobbies that keep me creative, active and happy.

I love bouldering, making art and enjoying nature in different ways (I adore raccoons - which might explain a few things here…). Apart from my slightly hermit-like activities, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, discovering culture (museum, music, food...) and playing video games.

Anyway, feel free to click away!
